Sustainable urbanism

It’s estimated that over ⅔ of global CO2 emissions take place in cities, as its inhabitants consume products from both inside and outside the urban limits. Producing these products means plenty of pollution, and the same is true with human mobility or solid and water waste. How can we transition cities to become more sustainable?
