Ecosystems and biodiversity are under threat
The value of ecosystem services and the natural capital isn’t measured in dollars. Due to the complexity of assessing what’s the value of clean water, green spaces or the presence of a species in a given ecosystem, the natural world has been neglected from the concept of progress.
However, a healthy and working society is extremely dependent on the services and raw materials ecosystems and the biodiversity of species provide. Human progress needs to quickly work towards protecting and regenerating the natural world.
